Join us for an honest discussion on hook-up culture, both nationally and at IU, with sexuality experts Dr. Justin R. Garcia and Dr. Kristen Jozkowski.  Students can ask questions, pose thoughts, and with a technology-enhanced forum can even share anonymously how they define “hooking up”. What are the assumptions and misconceptions people make surrounding sexual hookups? And how does that impact our safety, health, and pleasure? How do issues of consent change when engaging in sexual activity across a spectrum of contexts? Join us for discussion of these questions and more!

Culture of Care is a campus wide, student-led and staff-supported initiative focused on creating a campus culture in which members of the Indiana University Bloomington community demonstrate “care” for one another.  Through bystander intervention, the Culture of Care initiative empowers students to support their peers.  The Culture of Care initiative promotes helping one another, behavioral change, and raising awareness about four core areas: Mental Health, Sexual Well-being, Respect, and Drug and Alcohol Awareness.
