Joelle Jackson (she/her) is a third-year Wells Scholar from Bloomington, Indiana, pursuing dual majors in Anthropology and Folklore + Ethnomusicology with an individualized minor in Social Science Research Methods. Outside of Themester, she is an undergraduate research assistant with Traditional Arts Indiana, an editor with the IU Journal of Undergraduate Research, and the Undergraduate Representative-At-Large for the National Association of Student Anthropologists. She is passionate about ethnographic research and community-based scholarship, and in her free time, she enjoys studying ballet through the elective program at IU.
