Each year, the College of Arts and Sciences appoints several undergraduate student representatives to the Themester advisory committee.
The committee, made up of College faculty and students, will spend the rest of this academic year shaping the upcoming fall semester's Themester program. The committee reviews programming proposals, selects events and courses that focus on the theme, and allocates funding to activities.
Student committee members provide an important perspective in the creation of the overarching Themester program and help ensure that undergraduate student needs and interests remain central. Preference is given to undergraduates with majors and minors in the College of Arts and Sciences. Applicants should have a strong academic or personal interest in the theme Identity and Identification.
