Explore “Animal/Human” at First Thursday tomorrow and October 4 at the Fine Arts Plaza, 5:00-7:30 p.m. Themester and partners present a competitive quiz, animal-themed crafts, and a dance workshop.
Themester 2018 interns will test your knowledge of the animal/human relationship with a competitive "Animal/Human Quiz Bowl." Watch the competition to learn about some of the issues explored through this year’s theme or team up with your friends and sign on to compete in a round. All competitors take home a Themester T-shirt. Sign up starts at 5:00 p.m. for matches every 15 minutes, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Finally, students and instructors from IU's Contemporary Dance program present "Dancing Animal/Human," a special dance workshop, scheduled for 5:45 and 6:30 p.m. Participants with any level of dance or movement practice— total beginners, of any age and ability—are welcome and invited to experience the roots of locomotion and physical expression we share with animals. This workshop is wheel-chair and walker accessible and is suitable for multi-age movers, ages 5 to 95.
