Our guest for this episode is Dr. Freya Thimsen, assistant professor in the Department of English at Indiana University. She researches the relationship between traditional and innovative rhetoric -- specifically how communication technologies enable democracy. She is teaching ENG-R 340 Rhetoric of Social Movements: Democracy in U.S. Movement Rhetoric as part of Themester 2020's focus on democracy.
