"How have animals shaped the culture of humans? Why do we project human emotions onto animals? How do different species experience the world? In this course, students will create two and three-dimensional works of art and design that explore the relationship of animals and humans. Projects will include creating naturalistic drawings from animal specimen, constructing three-dimensional works inspired by models from the animal world, and building multimedia designs based on the perception of other species."
